Smooth rollers: our smooth rollers are available in single- and double drum versions. These roller trucks are best suitable for compacting surfaces of asphalt, gravel, sand, and rocks. That’s why you mostly see them being used at construction projects. So, if you’re working on a construction enterprise we would advise one of our Caterpillar asphalt/steam rollers. Single drum roller machine: A single drum roller would be most applicable to projects involving regular flattening such as pavements and driveways. Larger perimeter work requires less friction, so for roads and parking lots a double drum roller will suffice.
Padfoot rollers: Soil that contains close-knitted materials such as clay, loam, or residue, requires heavy penetration to strengthen up. Therefore, padfoot rollers are undoubtedly useful for agricultural projects where surfaces need to be compacted at depth.
